PAYMENT METHODS Credit Cards RTI accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. If you need to place an order with a credit card, please call (800) 816-5755 or fax the RTI Order Form to (941) 924-0699. All credit card orders are subject to credit verification and approval. For your protection, credit card orders shipped to an address other than your billing address may require additional verification. Please note that cards attached to checking accounts may have longer times and added procedures for verification as well as daily limits. C.O.D. We accept C.O.D. orders only from addresses within the United States. Only cashier's checks will be accepted as payment. Please make the cashier’s check payable to RTI Global, Inc. The amount of the cashier's check must be exactly the total cost of the order, plus shipping, handling and processing charges and sales tax, if applicable. All cashier's checks are subject to verification, and we require a copy of the cashier's check for orders over $500. The cashier’s check must be handed to the courier at the time of delivery. Do not mail in cashier’s checks. For security reasons C.O.D. orders are only taken over the phone. Please call (800) 816-5755 to place your order. Personal and Business Check RTI will accept personal and business checks for prepay orders. Allow for 10 business days for clearing plus delivery time of check. You may also mail in certified checks, money orders, and cashier’s checks for payment. The product is not set aside until order clears so stock on hand may change from the time the order is placed. 30 DAY RETURN POLICY We believe in offering our customers only the very best and want you to be completely satisfied with every item you purchase from RTI. Unless other noted, all RTI products carry a 30-day money back guarantee (less any shipping costs). Please see our return procedure details and conditions listed below. For additional information, please contact RTI at (800) 816-5755. Return Procedures Call (800) 816-5755 to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number before shipping your product. NO returns of any type will be accepted without a RMA number. RMA numbers are valid for 10 business days after issue and must be received in our warehouse within 30 days from the date of the purchase. For faster service, please have the following information on hand when calling for an RMA number: customer name, invoice/order number, item number and dongle serial number / security number (if applicable), and nature of the problem. Your RMA number(s) must appear clearly on the shipping label on the outside of the return shipment. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages so please be sure to have the package tracked and/or insured. All authorized returns must include a shipment tracking number. Subsequent to an approval authorization, a credit to an account or issuance of a check may take up to 30 days. Returns must be 100% complete, in original and resalable condition, with all original boxes and packing materials, have original UPC codes on the manufacturer boxes, contain all manuals, registration card(s), software, cabling, dongle (if applicable) and accessories. We reserve the right to refuse a return on any product that does not meet these requirements. The Customer is responsible for shipping charges on all returned items. RTI strongly recommends that you fully insure your return shipment in case it is lost or damaged and use a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery for your protection. Restocking Charge Certain items may have a restocking fee. The conditions and amount of the restocking fee will vary depending on the item. Any returned products must be have an RMA (Return Material Authorization) and must be complete in manufacturer’s packaging with all accessories, original serial numbers and UPC codes. If an incomplete product is returned, then we'll assess a minimum 15% restock fee in addition to any charge imposed prior to the return. Defective and Non-Defective Products Defective products will be accepted for credit, replacement, exchange or repair, at our discretion, within 30 days from the purchase date. Our technical support department prior to issuing a RMA must deem a product defective. Manufacturer restrictions do apply and are outlined in our return policy. Terms of the manufacturer's warranty apply from day one. Non-defective products will be issued a RMA within 30 days from the purchase date at RTI’s discretion. All non-defective returns are subject to 15% restocking fee. Shipping, handling and processing charges are not refundable. We cannot accept unauthorized shipments billed to the recipient. If you accept a damaged package, make sure it is noted on the carrier’s delivery record in order for RTI to file a damage claim. Save the merchandise in the original box and packing that it arrived in. Notify RTI immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and pick up of damaged merchandise. If you do not notify RTI of damaged goods within the first 15 days of arrival, our regular return policy will override any claim of damage, and will fall under all current manufacturer restrictions. A minimum restock fee of 15% may be applied to products returned as defective that test to be operational upon return. Software The customer assumes responsibility for verifying compatibility of software as printed on manufacturing package. Licensing An RTI salesperson must approve all licensing returns. Password Protected RIP Options & Upgrades Password protected RIP options and upgrades ordered for existing RIPs are non-refundable. All sales of RIP options and upgrades for existing RIPs are final. SALES TAX RTI purchases will include any applicable sales tax based on the ship-to location and the sales tax rate in effect at the time of shipping. If you phone in your order, the RTI salesperson will provide the final dollar amount of your order including tax and any applicable shipping charges at the time you place your order. If the sales tax rate for the state to which your order is being shipped changes before the product is shipped, the new tax rate in effect at the time of shipment will apply.
SHIPPING OPTIONS & POLICIES Most items will ship in 3 to 5 business days and the delivery time to our customer varies based on location and carrier. The shipping time for special orders or out of stock items may vary and will be noted on your order confirmation. Please review our shipping options and policies, and plan your purchases accordingly. Not all items are eligible for overnight delivery. Due to special packaging requirements we may not be able to ship products to certain areas or be constrained on our shipping options. The estimated shipment date on your order is based on product availability, payment-processing time, and warehouse processing time and does not include transit time. Payment processing will not begin until we receive all the information we need and full payment (or a full authorization in the case of credit card orders). RTI only ships using FedEx services. In accordance with FedEx shipping policies, all shipping methods require the FedEx carrier to obtain a signature at time of delivery.

Credit Approval Credit approval and order transmission can take several minutes, but may take longer for new customers and/or larger orders. Oversized or Overweight Shipments Shipments whose dimensions or weight exceed our normal freight services are subject to additional charges and limitations that vary by product, location, and freight receiving facilities at the ship to address. Signature and Physical Address All orders require a signature upon delivery. Therefore, a physical address is needed. We do not ship to post office boxes. Rerouting Packages cannot be rerouted once shipped for customer security and logistical reasons. SUPPORT POLICY & PROCEDURES Not only do we have a great technical support group here to assist you with your software; we also have the equipment and tools necessary to give you the service you deserve. Support Policy RTI offers 90 days worth of free technical support (via telephone, fax, email and online chat). During this 90-day period, we try to help users better understand how the RIP should be configured and how the RIP functions. After 90 days, RTI’s support policy is $150 per incident. While RTI offers an annual support contract, RTI does not bill per hour for technical support. If you need assistance reinstalling the RIP software after the free 90 day technical support period we have a reinstall package for $250 which includes assisting users over the phone with reinstalling the RIP software, necessary plugins, recreating page setups and input channels. If you are an RTI customer who purchased software from a local dealer and need assistance, it is advisable to contact your dealer first. Anuual Support Contracts RTI offers an annual support contract for the RTI Harlequin RIP and Print Production Manager. Users can initiate an annual support contract at any time. In order to initiate an annual support contract the RIP must be the same version as is currently shipping. Customers using an older version (excluding minor revisions) of the RIP must upgrade to the current version before purchasing a support contract. Annual support contracts begin on the date of purchase and last for 12 months. An RTI annual support contract offers the following methods of communication during normal technical support hours (Monday through Friday 8:30a.m. to 5:00p.m. and Friday 8:30a.m. to 4:00p.m. Eastern Time) excluding holidays:
The RTI Annual Support Contract costs $1,495 per RIP license and annual renewals will be available at a cost of $995 per year. The RTI Annual Support Contract includes:
Users with annual support contracts will automatically receive software upgrades for the RTI Harlequin RIP and/or Print Production Manager released during the contract term. This includes minor and major product releases. Hardware upgrades such as computer upgrades, dongle upgrades and interface card upgrades are not included. RTI reserves the right to cancel an annual support contract at our sole discretion and refund a prorated amount for the remainder of the contract. Annual support contracts must be paid in full before they become effective. WARRANTY INFORMATION Warranty Coverage Unless stated otherwise, RTI warranty obligations for all products are limited to the terms set forth below: RTI warranty periods are as follows:
RTI warrants all of its products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of the original purchase. If a defect arises and a valid claim is received by RTI within the Warranty Period, at its option, RTI will (1) repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or (3) refund the purchase price of the product. RTI warrants replacement products or parts provided under this warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of the replacement or repair for ninety (90) days or for the remaining portion of the original product's warranty, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes RTI’s property. When a refund is given, your product becomes RTI’s property. Exclusions and Limitations RTI is not liable for any damage to or loss of any programs, data, or other information stored on any media contained within the RTI product line, or any non-RTI product or part not covered by this warranty. Recovery or reinstallation of programs, data or other information is not covered under this Limited Warranty. This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication, or non-RTI products; (b) to damage caused by service performed by anyone other than RTI; (c) to a product or a part that has been modified without the written permission of RTI; or (d) if any RTI serial / security number has been removed or defaced. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. RTI SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF RTI CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM OR EXCLUDE IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THEN TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE ANY CLAIMS UNDER SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTIES SHALL EXPIRE ON EXPIRATION OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD. No RTI reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RTI IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH THE RTI PRODUCT LINE, AND ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON THE PRODUCT. RTI SPECIFICALLY DOES NOT REPRESENT THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR MAKE A PRODUCT EXCHANGE WITHOUT RISK TO OR LOSS OF PROGRAMS OR DATA. FOR CONSUMERS WHO HAVE THE BENEFIT OF CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS OR REGULATIONS IN THEIR COUNTRY OF PURCHASE OR, IF DIFFERENT, THEIR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE, THE BENEFITS CONFERRED BY THIS WARRANTY ARE IN ADDITION TO ALL RIGHTS AND REMEDIES CONVEYED BY SUCH CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS AND REGULATIONS. TO THE EXTENT THAT LIABILITY UNDER SUCH CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS AND REGULATIONS MAY BE LIMITED, RTI’S LIABILITY IS LIMITED, AT ITS SOLE OPTION TO REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF THE PRODUCT OR SUPPLY OF THE REPAIR SERVICE AGAIN. Note: Before you deliver your product for warranty service it is your responsibility to backup all data, including all software programs. You will be responsible for reinstalling all data.
