InkScript Press Software
You can now add CIP3 capability to your existing workflow. The InkScript software package allows you to output CIP3 ink key data to a wide variety presses through a card writer or ethernet connection, but it also allows you to output a PDF file. This means the software will work with almost any press.
InkScript Press Software

InkScript runs on Windows 2000, 2003 or XP Professional (32 bit editions).
Call (941) 925-1303 or email sales@rti-rips.com for more information on this software.

InkScript is a universal ink-key program (ink volume setter) that eliminates waste and reduces press times with shorter production cycles.
Place a computer in front of each press and send each press its own individual ink key settings for each press run. The savings will add up quickly and since this software is universal it works on both web and offset presses. You set the size of your press and the ink key values and the software does the rest.

Time and material can be wasted at the start of each press run while waiting for a quality sheet to print. Presetting your presses is one of the most important aspects of a prepress workflow. Ink keys save wasted time by analyzing the same data used for printing plates and then shares that information with the press. This software can output a PPF which can be transfered directly to CIP3/CIP4 compatible presses. For presses that do not have the ability to accept a PPF (CIP3/CIP4) file directly, the InkScript software can generate ink key settings in a PDF file, print out ink key settings to a compatible laser printer or preview ink key settings on a computer screen near the press console. The software works with almost any offset or web press because users can customize the output size and ink key range to match their specific press. The software not only provides press operators with an accurate picture of the ink coverage and ink key settings to preset the press manually, but can also output a PPF file which can also be used with presses that have LAN connections and CIP3 card readers (card reader and software sold separately). The PDF file includes administrative data such as the job name, date, ink key settings, press name and preview of the job.
